NCA Employer Event Business Casual Dress Code

All on-campus, employer events coordinated through NCA have a business casual dress code, including:

Please note that the dress code for employer interviews is business professional. (See an infographic that illustrates the differences between business casual and business professional dress - JPG.)

What Business Casual IS

What Business Casual is NOT

Tops

  • Collared, button down shirts that are tucked in
  • Blouses or shirts with a conservative cut
  • Sweaters or cardigans

Bottoms

  • Khaki or dark pants with a belt
  • Skirts or dresses that fall below fingertips
  • Formal suit
  • Blazer with tie
  • Jeans
  • Shorts
  • Athletic attire
  • Gym shoes
  • Flip flops

Employers are aware of the business casual dress code and are encouraged to also dress in business casual attire, if they do not do so already. There is no competitive advantage to wearing business formal attire (suits, ties, heels) at business casual events.
