Ebony is originally from Saint Louis, MO and holds a B.A. in Educational Studies from McKendree University in Lebanon, IL as well as a M.A. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Kansas in Lawrence, KS. Before starting at Northwestern, Ebony worked as an Academic Resource Counselor where she worked closely with ADA compliance and student accessibility/accommodations at McKendree University and an Assistant Complex Director during her time at the University of Kansas

Ebony’s professional interests include normalizing diversity/inclusion efforts, focusing on holistic student support, and individualizing the definition of student success to meet specific student needs. In her spare time, Ebony loves talking to friends, exploring new restaurants, and shopping.
