Assistant Resident Director

The ARD position is a 10-month, live-in, 20 hours-a-week, master’s-seeking student who collaborates with the Resident Director to provide overall management of a residential area. The ARD reports to a Resident Director and indirectly to an Assistant Director in Residential Services.

Graduate Assistant for Leadership Development

The GA is a 10 month, live-in, 20 hours-a-week, master’s-seeking student who works with the Program Manager for Residential Life to design and execute leadership development programs with Residential Life. The GA will assist in planning the annual Leadership Summit, Gregg Kindle Lectureand monthly development opportunities for student leaders, along with coordination of student leadership elections. The GA reports directly to the Program Manager and indirectly to an Assistant Director.

Graduate Assistant for Training and Selection

The GA is a 10 month, live-in, 20 hours-a-week, master’s-seeking student who works with the Program Manager for Residential Life to assist with the design and implementation of Student Staff Training, Student Staff Recruitment and Selection, and other administrative processes for Residential Services. The GA will also assist with planning and implementing student and professional staff training and selection processes. The GA reports directly to the Program Manager and indirectly to an Assistant Director.

Graduate Assistant for Residential Community Standards

The GA is a 10 month, live-in, 20 hours-a-week, master’s-seeking student who works with an Assistant Director to assist with overall management of the Community Standards Process for policy violations of residential students. The GA reports directly to an Assistant Director and works closely with the staff in the Office of Community Standards.
