Matt Hill serves as the Desk Clerk for McManus Center – Northwestern’s graduate housing residence dedicated to students of the Kellogg School of Management. In this role, Matt is responsible for smooth transitions for all arrivals and departures, mail & packages, student work staff, space reservations, parking, customer service & desk operations, and liaising with Kellogg. Matt began his role as the McManus Desk Clerk in 2015 after working in the field of hotel management for the previous five years.
Matt has an eclectic range of interests that provide fodder for conversation that engage residents while making lifelong connections and fostering joyful experiences. Matt makes an effort to get to know each resident personally, and loves connecting individuals with similar experiences and interests. The service provided by Matt and the entire desk team creates a more familial environment, which sets it apart from other housing options.
