Amanda joined the Northwestern team in June 2016 as an Assistant Director of Residential Life and moved to Residential and Academic Engagement as the Senior Assistant Director in Summer 2021. She was selected as Director of Residential and Academic Engagement in October 2022. Amanda helps to develop the residential area model, working with campus partners to develop programming and engagement opportunities for all residential students. Originally from Wisconsin, Amanda earned her B.S. in Psychology from the University of Indianapolis and M.Ed. in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Marquette University. Prior to coming to Northwestern, Amanda served professionally as an Area Coordinator at the University of Kentucky and a Residence Life Coordinator at the University of North Florida.

In her free time, Amanda enjoys exploring new restaurants and attending community events in the Chicagoland area.
