Abigail Holcomb (she/her) is excited to serve the Northwestern community as the Director, Residential Community and Support. Her role focuses on the life in the residence halls and residential colleges including community development, well-being support, community standards and student conduct, and crisis response.

Originally from Wisconsin, Abigail (she/her) earned her Bachelor’s in Elementary Education at the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse. Abigail then began life as an Illinois resident in Carbondale, IL where she earned her Master’s in Higher Education at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Prior to arriving at Northwestern, Abigail worked in Residence Life at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in a variety of roles that focused on community development, housing operations, crisis response and student support. Abigail lives in Evanston with her husband and two children where she can regularly be found at the Evanston Farmer’s Market. She enjoys baking, patio gardening, and spending time outdoors.
