Travis is the Assistant Director for Selection, Training and Community Development. His work as a champion for student success centers on the concepts of community building, leadership development, cultural consciousness, and empowering mentorship.

Originally from Northwest Indiana, Travis earned his B.S. in Religious Studies and Sociology from Ball State University and his M.S. in College Student Personnel from Western Illinois University. Travis previously worked in residence life at Missouri State University from 2011 – 2022. He has been a leader in ACPA – College Student Educators International, serving in multiple leadership roles within the Commission for Student Involvement, and NACURH (National Association of College and University Residence Halls), serving as the Midwest Affiliate Regional Advisor from 2017 – 2020.

Travis is a doting dog dad who enjoys traveling, thrifting, pop culture, art, and cooking.
