As the Assistant Director of Operations and Services, Katie provides leadership and guidance for the Occupancy Management and Assignment team. She will have oversight for operational management of the RMS Mercury Housing Management System, and Undergraduate and Graduate housing assignments. She will lead and advise internal areas and key NU partners (e.g. Residential Life, FSL, Athletics, NU Dining, and various offices/departments. campus-wide), and supervision of the department's main line (i.e. Home Line) as well as its student staff.
Katie earned a B.S. in Child Development from Northern Illinois University and her M.A. in Early Childhood Education from Roosevelt University. Prior to coming to Northwestern in 2016, Katie worked at Roosevelt University for 8 years in Student Services and Residence Life. In her free time, Katie enjoys exploring Chicago, going to movies and enjoying all Chicago summers have to offer with her family.
