Over 25 years ago, Phil Jaber set out to make a really good cup of coffee. His passion for coffee and building community gave way to the first Philz Coffee shop in 2003 in the Mission District of San Francisco, CA. Today, Philz is a national coffee company with over 50 stores nationwide and offers more than 15 unique, customized blends created by Phil. Each cup of coffee is handcrafted one at time, to each customers specifications. What started off as a labor of love, has turned into a national coffee chain with loyal fans. While there are four million ways to enjoy coffee, Philz believes the best cup of coffee is one that comes to your own taste.
