Print Management Program

The revised timeline for implementing NUPrint, the campus-wide print management program through Ricoh, is for late winter starting with staff at the University Library and the Pritzker School of Law. The replacement of NUPrint will be delayed until the end of the academic year in June 2023.

We want to give you an update on the replacement of NUPrint, which is related to the larger roll out of the campus wide print management program with Ricoh.

Unresolved technical issues as well as supply chain delays have affected the full implementation of Northwestern Print. It was not possible to roll out Northwestern Print, retire NUPrint providing student printing, and move all existing Ricoh MFD devices into that solution by the end of summer 2022.

Hardware replacement work continues with Ricoh across both campuses. Numerous groups are working on specific facets of this project including hardware, communications, support and training, technical issues, financial and business processes, student printing, and print strategy. Most of the work has been completed around the functional and technical design of the solution.
