NUQuickPay Coming Soon

As previously communicated in our August 18, 2022 newsletter, PPS, Financial Operations, and IT are excited to announce that Northwestern is implementing an electronic payment option for individuals.  We are currently in the process of doing some final live testing and hope that it will be ready for use by the end of January, 2023.  We will update all staff immediately once it is ready to be turned on.

The NUQuickPay program is a way for Northwestern to pay people electronically via Zelle or ACH. This is available to individuals (e.g., visitors, research subjects, independent contractors) that are set up as suppliers within NUFinancials and paid through the normal Payment Request or Purchase Order processes. Please note that only people with a mailing address within the United States and an account with a U.S.-based bank are eligible for NUQuickPay.

Companies must sign up through one of the existing electronic payment programs, Paymode-X (ACH) or ePayables (dedicated credit card).
