Change your benefit elections
Employees can make changes to their benefit elections during Open Enrollment or when a family member experiences an IRS Qualifying Event — like adding a child to your family, getting married or position changes.
Open enrollment
Open enrollment is the time during the year where benefits-eligible faculty and staff are able to change their enrollment elections and make Flexible Spending Account elections. The next open enrollment period is will be in fall 2019.

Changing benefits
Both changes in family status and changes in employment status can make you eligible for a special enrollment period, allowing you to enroll in health insurance outside the yearly open enrollment period.
