EShipGlobal is an outbound web-based shipping service portal for all outbound domestic and international shipments.
Centrally-Billed and In-house Services
Centrally-billed preferred vendors and in-house services (which may come at no additional cost) include benefits such as monthly billing via your chartstring (no PO or PRQ needed) or pre-signed event riders.
While all Preferred Vendors have established a contract with Northwestern and have reached a pricing agreement either through a negotiations or a formal competitive bid process, certain preferred vendors offer additional benefits. Alternative ordering methods may also be available through these vendors.
What is Internal Billing?
Through a special relationship with certain preferred vendors, the following services are available for central billing. Once enrolled in the program, you can charge the service to your NU chart string. Each department will be billed internally at the end of each month.

Purchasing and Strategic Sourcing encourages departments and schools to use Northwestern Dining, the official campus caterer.
Copy Center and Printing Program
Quartet Digital Printing on the Evanston and Chicago campuses offers copying, digital printing and finishing services. Northwestern Print is our internal printing service, supported by Ricoh.
Daily Vehicle Rental
Student organizations, faculty and staff can reserve daily rental cars through Enterprise using direct billing.
Fleet Vehicles
Charge fleet vehicle rentals to your chartstring through Enterprise Fleet Vehicles.
Gas Card
Gas card for Exxon is available through internal billing.
Lab Gases and Dry Ice
Dry Ice, Liquid Nitrogen, Compressed Gases, Gas Tank regulators and valves are available through Airgas, PPS's Lab Gas Program.
Laundry Services
Laundry services for the labs and research community including customer owned lab coats and linen rental through Morgan Laundry Services.
Meter and Bulk Mail
Internal mail services for meter and bulk mail are directly charged to the chart string provided.
On Campus Moves
On-campus moves for the Evanston and Chicago campuses through Reebie Moving & Storage.
Shredding Services
Iron Mountain is a document and media shredding service available through internal billing.
Travel
Faculty and staff are encouraged to use one of Northwestern's contracted travel agencies to book University travel.
In-House Services
In-house services includes services that can be handled by Northwestern staff, often free of charge.
- Audio Visual Integration Services: For all major AV integration projects, Northwestern IT has in-house staff that can offer free assistance from project conception through completion.
- Lab Supply Stockroom: Products and services for your laboratory including hazmat supplies, pipette and balance calibration, freezer services, ethanol and more.
- Website Development: There are various options for website development, including in-house options.
