Requesting Permanent or Temporary Changes on Existing Cards

Temporary and permanent changes to dollar limits or MCC (Merchant Category Code) settings on existing corporate cards can be requested as follows:

Permanent Changes

To request a permanent change, complete the Northwestern Corporate Card Change Request Form and submit it for approval. The application will first route to your supervisor and then your school or central administration representative for approval.

Temporary Changes

To request a temporary change, send an email to the authorized approver for your school or area outlining the reason for the request. If approved, the approver will forward the request to the Corporate Card Office. Your school or area will notify you once the change has been made.

Please note: Temporary change requests should be infrequent. Cardholders are expected to plan ahead and assess their monthly spending needs before submitting a request.
