Enhanced Website Now Live
As previously announced through the Financial Operations listserv, we are excited to announce the launch of the enhanced website for Procurement and Payment Services! We worked closely with the Office of Global Marketing and Communications to redesign and re-architect our site. Feedback and user testing with numerous departments and schools was prioritized to develop intuitive navigation, simplified and updated content, and features that make finding what you need easier and faster.
Explore the enhanced Procurement and Payment Services website. Our primary goal was to structure the site around what visitors want to accomplish—rather than how the Procurement and Payment Services department is organized.
- Key enhancements with significant architectural updates, content change highlights, and enhanced features.
- Re-architected the main Procurement & Payment Services site to reflect user needs and create a user journey that instills confidence while elevating previously buried topics.
- Simplified terminology, updated information, created a simple link to relevant job aids on Knowledge Base, and converted long instructional paragraphs into more digestible language. Our FAQ was centralized, categorized, and expanded as well. Breaking down particular processes and options while also creating a new, easier to navigate landing page was central to our vision for the project.
A number of enhanced features were added to our website. A few key highlights include:
- Collated important forms, policies, FAQs, training, and related links into custom side bar feature across the site for any page
- A new, added contact feature at the bottom of several pages to specify which office or individual is the correct contact for specific topics
- Searchable and filterable Form and Policy libraries was built into the site
- We implemented news and announcements tagged by topic that feed dynamically to homepage, landing pages, and news and announcement page - keeping users updated on relevant topics
- Our new user interface for Preferred Vendors is broken down by sub-category with filtering capabilities
