For Research Participants: Tango Gift Card Program

PPS recently worked with Depository Services on a RFP to establish a new gift card program and stored value card program, to support the payment of research participants. Northwestern is transitioning away from PNC Bank’s stored value card program after winter recess.
The Tango gift card platform will be available for use in iBuyNU beginning Monday, January 6, 2025. This platform is ONLY available for research participant payments at this time. A job aid will be posted on the PPS website, under Announcements, prior to January 6, 2025.
We are working to establish a new stored value card program for research participant payments by March 2025. This will complement the Tango platform and provide additional features for researchers.
