Artificial Intelligence Agent Added to the PPS Website

Procurement & Payment Services worked with the Office of Global Marketing and Communications to enable a new feature on the PPS website. It now has an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Agent embedded into the search field that utilizes the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform (Google’s AI) to improve search results.  The AI agent searches across multiple Northwestern websites, while the actual search results are restricted only to the Procurement pages. The agent brings an advanced, state of the art tool to our community and will help streamline the process of accessing PPS related information and narrowing any gaps in understanding.
