I have a maintenance issue in my room/on my floor/in the building. To whom should I report the problem?

All non-emergency repair requests, including burned-out light bulbs, should be submitted online via the NU Housing PortalIf you’re unable to submit a ticket through the housing portal, for general questions and follow ups, please contact fixit@northwestern.edu. A representative will respond during business hours, Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

With whom can I speak regarding recurring issues in my room?

Please speak to your RA first. Your RA will then contact the appropriate person.
