Area Councils
What are Area Councils?
Area Councils (ACs) are brand new student-led organizations for the 2021-2022 academic year advised by Residential Services staff that provide leadership and community development opportunities within each residential area.
Area Councils are tasked with the following:- provide social and recreational programming for residents
- promote affinity for the residential area in line with the area's identity
- engage the residents by involving them in the program planning process
- provide leadership opportunities within Northwestern's Leadership Framework
