Erin Hernández (she/her/ella) joined the Northwestern Residential Community and Support team as a Resident Director in the Southwest Area in January 2025. After growing up in a Northwest Chicago suburb, she attended Ball State University for undergraduate school, studying Interpersonal Communication, and moved to Flagstaff, Arizona to pursue her Masters of Education in Counseling in Student Affairs at Northern Arizona University. Here at Northwestern, Erin is a Co-Chair of Out Network Evanston and Chair of the Group of Disabled Professionals (GDP). Her exploring Chihuahua named Dora loves to travel with her, having visited 25 national parks! She loves true crime podcasts and documentaries, Broadway musicals, hiking, and all things coffee. In her free time, Erin is a soror of Theta Nu Xi Multicultural Sorority Incorporated, and serves as the Secretary of the National Multicultural Greek Council.
