Permit Rates
Cost $9.00 for visitors, faculty, staff and students.
Non-refundable.
Annual permits start October 1 and expire September 30 of the following year.
Student Commuter Annual: $648.00
The rate decreases by $54.00 each month after October.
These are billed to your student account.
Student Commuter 9 months Academic Year: $540.00
Expires the day after Commencement.
The rate decreases by $60.00 each month after October.
These are billed to your student account.
Residential Student Annual: $648.00
The rate decreases by $54.00 each month after October.

Parking Exemptions and Handicapped License Plates
Students with handicapped license plates or placards must purchase a main campus parking permit.
Students requesting a parking exemption for medical reasons must receive approval from AccessibleNU.
How to Obtain
Permits must be obtained in person at the Evanston Parking Office. Students must be registered for classes prior to purchasing a parking permit and present their:
Valid Wildcard
Valid driver's license
Vehicle registration (make sure it is not expired)
Current housing contract, lease or other acceptable proof of local address
Persons who provide false information are subject to referral to Student Affairs, loss of any future permit privileges and forfeiture of permit fee and also may be subject to criminal charges. An additional fine may be assessed for a fraudulently obtained permit.
Transportation & Parking reserves the right to request additional documentation to verify address, affiliation and vehicle registration. All information is subject to verification. The University Parking Committee and Transportation & Parking have the authority to deny or revoke parking privileges.
