Behavioral Consultation Programs

Threat assessments and interventions to mitigate campus violence

About the Behavioral Consultation Programs

Northwestern's Behavioral Consultation Team (BCT) serves as the central point of contact for receiving reports about concerning or threatening behavior by students, faculty, staff or non-affiliated community members.

Community responsibility and engagement in the reporting process enhance campus safety and the ability to effectively respond to and prevent potentially dangerous situations. Students, faculty and staff are expected to report concerning and threatening behavior immediately.
