Student Commuter Permit

All new student commuters require their school administrator's approval before applying for a permit. Student parking permits must be purchased in person at the Chicago Parking Office, beginning in mid-September each year. Parking authorization is sold to students on an annual or academic year basis. Student parking is charged to your student account.

Parking Privileges

Your parking privileges include access 24/7 to the assigned garage in Chicago, but please note that vehicle storage for more than 24 hours is not allowed.

2025-26 Parking Fees

Annual: $576.00 (prorated monthly)

• Annual parking is valid October 1 to September 30 the following year.
• The total parking fee if prorated decreases by $48.00 per month. For example, if you obtain a parking permit in January, your parking fee is $432 for the remaining 9 months (9 x $48 per month).
• Parking fees are billed to your student account.

Academic Year: $531.00 (prorated monthly)

• Academic year parking is valid October 1 to June 30 the following year.
• The total parking fee if prorated decreases by $59.00 per month. For example, if you obtain a parking permit in January, your parking fee is $354 for the remaining 6 months (6 x $59 per month).
• Parking fees are billed to your student account.

All rates include all parking taxes.
