Please Note: Parking permits are required at all times for all faculty, staff, student, and emeriti utilizing parking in any campus lots or garages on the Northwestern University Chicago campus.
Student permits must be purchased in person through the Chicago Parking Services Office. Student permits are available for purchase beginning in mid-September each year. Permits are sold to students on an annual or academic year basis. All new student commuters require their school administrator's approval before applying for a permit. Student permit parking is charged to your student account.
Contractor permits must be purchased through ABM Parking at the Erie Ontario Parking Garage Office. Please contact the garage manager, 312-503-7253, for pricing, billing, and availability.
Faculty and staff can renew permits utilizing the online portal. Departmental approval will be verified confirming that all eligibility criteria is met. The Parking Office will assign garage access based on current availability. Faculty and staff parking rates are tiered based on salary structure and are paid monthly via pre-tax payroll deductions.
