Academic Leadership Program (ALP)
ALP is an intensive year-long program to develop the leadership and managerial skills of faculty who have demonstrated exceptional ability and academic promise.
These programs are designed for faculty with formal leadership experience, such as a department chair, program director, division chief or another leadership role in a school or unit.

The Faculty Leaders lunch series equips department chairs, division chiefs, and faculty directors with the knowledge and skills they need for success. Faculty Leaders will learn how to develop leadership skills, build community and manage people, navigate administrative structures and processes, promote vision, build a team and facilitate change, and solve problems commonly encountered in their roles.
New and early career faculty are welcome to attend a variety of career development programs that are open to all faculty, including on topics such as communicating your research, mentoring, family-friendly events, and writing supports.
