About the Awards

Northwestern offers three awards to recognize individual faculty members who consistently:

Collectively, these awards celebrate excellence in undergraduate teaching and are known as the University Teaching Awards.

The 2022 University Teaching Awards nominations are now open and due Friday, Feb. 25, 2022. For more information about the nomination process and required materials, see the Nomination and Selection Process page. 

The 2022 University Teaching Awards ceremony is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, May 18, 2022.
