Spring Quarter Move-In for Undergraduate Students

Information for Undergraduate Students
Undergraduate residence halls, residential colleges, and special interest communities remain open over Spring Break.
Residents who lived on campus in Winter Quarter may come and go as they please.
All current residents will be automatically checked out for Winter Quarter at 12:00 p.m. on March 16, 2024. Watch your email for a link to check back in for Spring Quarter. Be sure to complete the self-check in process, tap your Wildcard on the electronic lock on your door, wait 45 seconds, then tap again for entry.
Unloading and Parking
A parking permit is not required when actively unloading items from your vehicle. If you are unloading from a fire lane, a driver must remain with the vehicle at all times, or a parking ticket may be issued. We ask that you move your vehicle away from your building once you have finished unloading. Additionally, please avoid parking in a spot that is designated as "Reserved-24hr enforcement". These signs are purple and are posted in the front of the parking stall. Permits are required to park in all lots Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm. Visitor permits may be purchased in-person at the Parking Office located at 1841 Sheridan Rd.
Additional Information for New Students
Students are permitted to move in after 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 24, 2024. Arrival prior to this date and time will not be possible. That morning you will receive a link to complete a self-check-in. After completing the self-check in, tap this card on the electronic lock on your door, wait 45 seconds, then tap again for entry. - If you do not have a Wildcard, visit your Area Desk to get a temporary access card.
- Move-in carts are available at the Area Desk. Please note that not all buildings have ramps or elevators.
