Panhellenic Association Recruitment
Primary Recruitment
At Northwestern University, the Panhellenic Association (PHA) holds deferred primary recruitment each year during the first week of the Winter quarter. Primary recruitment is a multi-day structured joining process in which all 7 of the Panhellenic sororities participate.
Registration is required to participate in primary recruitment. The registration process will open on October 1, 2024.
To register beginning on or after October 1st, please visit: nupha.mycampusdirector2.com
Continuous Open Bidding (COB) Informal Recruitment
During the Fall and Spring quarters, eligible chapters may have the ability to accept new members through a recruitment process called Continuous Open Bidding (COB). Chapters manage the COB process on their own and are responsible for connecting with interested students directly. First-year students are ineligible for COB in the Fall quarter. Students must have completed one term of college-level coursework at an accredited institution to be eligible to join a PHA sorority. Please note that informal recruitment happens on a rolling basis and students may not be contacted if a chapter has already completed their recruitment process.
Fall COB Kickoff will be held on Friday, September 27th at 5:30pm in Kresge 1515. Attendance and registration are not required to participate in COB, though attendance at COB Kickoff is encouraged to learn more about the process and community.
