All of the recognized Fraternities and Sororities at Northwestern are affiliated with one of our four councils. The councils serve as the governing body for its member groups and are composed of student-leader representatives that are also affiliated with a fraternity or sorority within their member council. These councils oversee recruitment processes, programming, peer accountability, expectations and more for their constituent groups. At Northwestern, we recognize 4 councils: the Interfraternity Council (IFC), the Multicultural Greek Council (MGC), the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) and the Panhellenic Association (PHA).
