- Wellness: the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of the chapter and its members.
- Safety: Prioritizing the safety and wellbeing of members and broader NU community by centering a purposeful approach to creating social experiences
- Accountability: The knowledge of, commitment to, and willingness to accept responsibility for policies and expectations with the intention of continuous improvement and betterment of the collective community.
- Chapter Development: the ongoing individual and collective development of members and the advancement of a strong, sustainable organizational structure.
- Belonging: the holistic understanding of individual need for security, support, affinity, and sense of acceptance and empowering students to cultivate emotionally intelligent communities rooted in authentic relationships and meaningful siblinghood.

- As a result of engaging with FSL, students will be able to receive customized coaching and developmental opportunities that provide increased competency in communication, planning and execution, and ethical decision making
- Harm Reduction & Safety
- As a result of engaging with FSL, students will be able to reduce harm as it related to alcohol, cannabis, and other drugs
