Provost’s webinar: Meet Northwestern’s new deans

Dear faculty,

As you know, in the past year, three new deans have joined Northwestern: Bryan McKinley Jones Brayboy (School of Education and Social Policy), Jonathan Bailey Holland (Henry and Leigh Bienen School of Music) and Chris Schuh (Robert R. McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science).

These accomplished leaders bring immense talent and scholarship from across very different fields. Their collective knowledge and experience demonstrate precisely the kind of breadth and depth that make Northwestern so special.

During the hiring process and over the past several months, I have had the great pleasure of getting to know these remarkable individuals — as have some of you. Now, I would like to give all our faculty the opportunity to learn more about the visionary leaders who will be making their mark on the University for years to come.

I invite you to join me in conversations with our new deans at the next Office of the Provost webinar, scheduled for noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 31.

You can register online or watch a recording of the session, which will be posted on the Office of the Provost news site. If you have specific questions for the deans, please submit them when you register.

I look forward to a lively and enlightening event, and I hope you will join us.

Thank you,

Kathleen Hagerty
