Fall 2022 awards—call for applications and nominations

Dear colleagues,

The Office of the Provost is proud to offer a number of awards that recognize and honor Northwestern faculty members for their exemplary work as educators, researchers and colleagues. We are now accepting applications and nominations for the following three awards:

 

Alumnae of Northwestern University Award for Curriculum Innovation

The Award for Curriculum Innovation supports faculty innovations that enhance the undergraduate curriculum, such as new courses, new course materials or components for existing courses, and new approaches to instruction. Learn more about applications and view past honorees.

 

Daniel I. Linzer Award for Faculty Excellence in Diversity and Equity

The Award for Faculty Excellence in Diversity and Equity recognizes faculty exemplars who work collaboratively to build a more diverse, inclusive and equitable climate at Northwestern. Learn more about nominations and view past honorees.

 

Provost Award for Exemplary Faculty Service

The Award for Exemplary Faculty Service recognizes faculty exemplars who have gone above and beyond in service that has had a substantial impact on students, faculty or the University, and that has significantly enhanced the quality of Northwestern as an educational institution and community of scholars. The deadline for the award applications and nominations is Nov. 11, 2022, and winners will be announced in January. Please contact curriculumaward@northwestern.edu for questions about the Alumnae Award for Curriculum Innovation. For the Linzer and Provost Awards, contact Joan Marie Johnson at faculty@northwestern.edu. Later this month, we will reach out directly to the deans to solicit their nominations for our annual Teaching Awards.
