Tori Saxum
Assistant Director for Strategy and Policy
Tori Saxum joined the Office of the Provost in May 2026. As Assistant Director for the Strategy and Policy team, Tori contributes to projects across the team's portfolio, including senior leadership searches, the dean review process, new program approvals and other strategic initiatives.
Tori began her career at Northwestern in 2020 in the Office of Undergraduate Research, where she oversaw communications, hiring and financial operations. Prior to her work in higher education, she gained experience in both the legal field and the nonprofit sector.
Tori earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Loyola University Chicago and is pursuing a master’s in Learning and Organizational Change at Northwestern, with an emphasis on driving AI-powered change.
