Julie White
Associate Provost for Administration, Finance and Facilities
Julie White joined the Office of the Provost in June 2026. As Associate Provost for Administration, Finance and Facilities, she provides strategic leadership for academic operations, resource planning and academic space and facilities initiatives that support the University's teaching, research and service missions. She works closely with academic and administrative leaders to align operational priorities, capital planning and space utilization with Northwestern's long-term strategic goals.
Julie brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in higher education administration, finance, research operations and facilities planning. Prior to joining the Office of the Provost, she served as Associate Dean of Administration, Finance, Facilities and Planning for the McCormick School of Engineering, where she led finance, human resources, information technology, facilities and planning functions. Prior to joining Northwestern, she held senior leadership positions at the University of Chicago and Stanford University School of Medicine.
Julie holds a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
