Celina Flowers joined the Office of the Provost in December 2008.

As Assistant Provost for Faculty, Celina oversees the implementation of policies, programs and infrastructures that are designed to support faculty excellence. She also works to coordinate institutional responses to address faculty concerns and manages the processes that govern faculty rights and appeals.

Celina has held a variety of roles within Office of the Provost, including providing support to the Provost, the Associate Provost for Undergraduate Education and for Faculty, and serving as the Director for Faculty. She has led the expansion of programs to cultivate faculty leaders, the development of resources and best practices for effective management,  the creation of the University Ombudsperson Office, and the development and growth of the University's Faculty Wellness Program.

Celina earned her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois and her Master of Science in Higher Education Administration and Policy from Northwestern.
