Amy J. Hauenstein

As the Director of Professional Programs, Amy supports the Associate Provost for Graduate Education and Northwestern’s vision for professional programs that are quality-driven, student-centered, and revenue-generating by developing and executing an institutional framework for professional programming.

Amy works closely with colleagues in the Office of the Provost, Student Affairs, the Office of Budget and Planning, and select schools, including The Graduate School.

Amy earned her BA in Integrated Social Sciences from The Ohio State University, a MA in Education from Ursuline College, and her PhD in Curriculum Studies from DePaul University.
