Attendee Tips
Movie goers are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and blankets. Free parking is available after 4:00 p.m. in the two-level lakeside lot south of Norris.
Luna's Pub and Grill will be open for food and refreshments each evening.
Summer Cinema is Northwestern University’s summer movie series, sponsored by the Office of Summer Sessions and Norris University Center.
Films are screened at dusk (around 8:00pm) at Kahn Pavilion on Cohen Lawn at Norris University Center. Fun family activities, such as glitter artists, free glowsticks and blankets are available one hour before the movie while supplies last!
General Information
Summer Cinema is free and open to all.
Rain and Severe Weather
In the event of severe weather, Summer Cinema will be moved indoors. If indoors, the film will begin at 7:15pm. You will be notified via email on or before the day of the event should it take place indoors.
