Clare Kirwan

Student Supervisor, Curator & Registrar

Clare Kirwan is a Junior studying Art History, Journalism and Political Science. As one of the co-supervisors at Dittmar Memorial Gallery, she leads the curatorial and permanent collection efforts at the Gallery. On campus, Clare is an editor for the Daily Northwestern, the head of design for the food magazine SPOON NU, a chair for NUMUN, and a member of the best club on campus: Survivor NU. She loves all things art, outdoors, and reading, so stop by the gallery to talk to her about her current read, the next national park trip she's planning, or her current obsession with scrapbooking.

Chloe Wang

Student Supervisor, Archives & Exhibitions

Chloe Wang is a Sophomore from Shanghai in the class of 2029, studying Radio/TV/Film and Gender Studies. At Dittmar, they are excited to sort through the permanent collection archives and collaborate with the team to bring insightful art exhibitions to the Northwestern community. They also aspire to be professional at sticking vinyls in the gallery.

Outside of Dittmar, Chloe is also a part of Rainbow Alliance, Wildcat Animate, and an archives research assistant for the Women's Center. When not in Dittmar, you can always find them studying in the GSRC or watching a movie with friends in East Fairchild!

Dani Caceres

Curator of Programs & Engagement

Dani Caceres is a Junior from Austin, TX studying Art History, American Studies, and Art Theory & Practice. At Dittmar they will focus on strategic curatorial planning and assisting with programming efforts. In the future she hopes to work as a curator or in an administrative role at one of Chicago's many art museums. Outside of Dittmar she enjoys working on student films and is the Co-President of Arco, a queer Latine student organization. In her free time you can find her exploring art museums, going to concerts, and visiting Chicago with her friends. Fun fact: Dani is also an artist who does multimedia work in textiles, photography, and sculpture.

Allison Kuester

Exhibitions Assistant

Allison Kuester is a Sophomore studying Journalism and Political Science. As an assistant at Dittmar Memorial Gallery, she works alongside the team to curate shows and create programming for different exhibits. Outside of the gallery, Allison writes and edits for the Daily Northwestern, tutors kids in Evanston with Books and Breakfast, and is a member of Asian American Student Journalists. In her spare time you’ll find her updating her Letterboxd, struggling through an endless reading list, and enjoying the beach ready to talk about her dream travel destinations or her favorite Chicago restaurants!
