Rename Webpage or Folder
If you need to rename a webpage
- Navigate to the Page
Go to the page you want to rename. - Rename the System Name (URL)
- Click More → Rename.
- Update the System Name (this becomes the URL).
- Use lowercase letters for the URL.
- Check Unpublish from specific destinations and select both Live and Test.
- Click Rename.
(Note: Renaming automatically unpublishes the page.)
- Update the Page Title
- After renaming, go to Edit mode.
- Change the Page Title to match the new name.
- Save and Submit changes.
- Republish
- Republish the parent folder of the page.
- If the change affects top navigation, republish the entire site.
If you need to rename a folder
Renaming a folder requires updates in three places:
- Update Folder Index Page Title
- Open the index page inside the folder.
- Click Edit and update the Page Title to match the new folder name.
- Submit changes.
- Update Folder Title
- Go to the folder.
- Click Edit and update the Folder Title.
- Submit changes.
- Rename Folder URL (System Name)
- Go back to the folder level.
- Click More → Rename.
- Update the System Name (URL) in lowercase.
- Ensure the cursor is at the end to avoid extra spaces.
- Check Unpublish from specific destinations and select both Live and Test.
- Click Rename.
- Republish
- If the renamed folder affects top navigation, republish the entire site.
- If it only affects a section, republish the parent folder.
