Image Tips

  • Always use recommended image sizes for your pages.
  • Make sure to add descriptive alternate text for all the images.
  • If you want to insert images in the main content area, the order should be:
    • Add text and format it.
    • Insert image; align it if you wish to wrap text around it. This will ensure you have proper markup around your content.
  • Use Photoshop to edit image when possible
    • Always save your images using "save for web" option, generally with quality set to 60, to reduce size.
