Oak Grove Library Center – Module 2

Project Description & Statistics

The Oak Grove Library Center (located in Waukegan, IL) is a state of the art, climate controlled, high density service center that can currently house up to 1.9 million items in 12,000 square feet of space. The total gross square footage of the Center is approximately 19,000 square feet including all the processing and other necessary spaces. The University is preparing to add an additional 12,000 square feet of space to double the facility’s capacity.  The property has the ability to expand six more times after this 12,000 square feet addition is completed.




VIDEO SPECIAL: This is a drone video capture of a crane lift of a very large specialized air handling unit at the Oak Grove Library Center. The lift took place in late March 2016. The video was provided by the general contractor, Krusinski Construction Co.
