General information

3. How can I request more toilet paper/paper towels/hand soap?

You may submit your request via phone, email or online. Visit the Service Requests web page for contact information.

We will forward the provided information to our custodial crew. New supplies should arrive on the same day if possible, otherwise on the following day.

4. Can you help with a bug/rodent infestation?

Yes; our exterminator visits the office daily to pick up requests.

If the request is urgent it will be dispatched immediately and the problem will be taken care of the same day. Otherwise it will likely be taken care of the next business day. You will not be charged for the service.

5. Can you unlock a room or office?

No. To unlock an office you will need to contact University Police. Call (847) 491-3456 (Evanston) or (312) 503-3456 (Chicago).

6. Can you move furniture/boxes between rooms?

All moves are handled by Reebie Storage and Moving Co., NU’s preferred vendor for moving. Departments and schools should submit requests directly to Reebie using the Moving Service Request Form. This form streamlines the moving request and scheduling process and provides an email confirmation of the request.

Please submit your moving requests with as much advance notice as possible. Departments and schools will be charged via the re-charge center/central bill process, unless other arrangements have been made with Reebie.

7. Can you fix a broken phone?

No; phone services are handled by Northwestern University Information Technology (IT) Services. For telephone repair, call NUIT repair at 611 from any campus phone.
