Hogan Biological Sciences Building Renovation

Project Status: COMPLETED

Construction Start: Fall 2014
Completion: Winter 2015

Project Description and Statistics

The Hogan Biological Sciences Building project (located at 2205 Tech Drive in Evanston, IL) will renovate existing laboratory work space on the First Floor of the Hogan Science building. Current lab space will be turned into new, modern, office/collaboration/presentation space.

The design intent is to meet diverse office needs within an unconventional existing building footprint. The furniture was selected to project a clean, modern and high-tech aesthetic while permitting maximum flexibility. The space accommodates group conferences, small group collaboration areas, dedicated individual work areas in addition to private offices, a food pantry, a waiting area for guests and a separate, partitioned quiet work zone. Also, a teleconferencing/AV system was designed and installed as part of the main collaboration work space.
