- What do you do at Northwestern?
- I am currently teaching intermediate Spanish and co-leading the Compass Team at SES. But my full-time job is being ABD in the PhD Spanish & Portuguese Dept.
- What are you passionate about?
- Living a healthy lifestyle which includes playing sports (volleyball & basketball), lifting weights, and running.
- What are some moments/accomplishments/projects you have been proud of?
- One of the things I am most proud of is that I curated the Latina/o Studies symposium last year and the outcome of this event was more than I could’ve hoped for. I made some strong connections with great scholars in the field. However, the thing that I am most proud of is that I am the only one in my entire family (including extended) to pursue a PhD.
- Where can you be found around campus?
- Primarily in SES, I love the space and the vibes.
- What do you like to do in your spare time?
- Try new restaurants and travel.
