Financial Aid provides grant assistance to eligible students to cover the $4,050.00 cost for the Northwestern University Student Health Insurance Plan (NU-SHIP). Emergency Aid, Patient Advocacy and Medical Expenses

The Patient Advocacy Coordinator, Elizabeth Hsu, works with students, hospitals, and doctors to lower or eliminate the cost of unpaid medical expenses. She can also help you find a doctor/specialist that works with your insurance plan, even if you’re not on the NU-SHIP Aetna plan!

The Student Activities Assistance Fund (SAAF) is a grant to assist students in registered student organizations with financial support to participate fully in their student organization’s programs and events.
The Summer Internship Grant Program (SIGP) was established to support Northwestern students participating in unpaid internships that demonstrate financial need.
