Quest+ is Northwestern's only student-run organization that is dedicated to advocating for first-generation and/or lower-income students.

Funding for Fees/Dues

The Student Activities Assistance Fund (SAAF) is a grant to assist students in registered student organizations with financial support to participate fully in their student organization’s programs and events.

Academic Support

Academic Support and Learning Advancement (ASLA) provides support for developing your academic strategies, workshops, and study groups.

Health Insurance

There is financial assistance to cover the $4,050 cost of the Northwestern University Student Health Insurance Plan (NU-SHIP).

Patient Advocacy and Medical Expenses

The Patient Advocacy Coordinator, Elizabeth Hsu, works with students, hospitals, and doctors to lower or eliminate the cost of unpaid medical expenses. She can also help you find a doctor/specialist that works with your insurance plan, even if you’re not on the NU-SHIP Aetna plan!

The Summer Internship Grant Program (SIGP) was established to support Northwestern students participating in unpaid internships that demonstrate financial need.
