History
Student Enrichment Services was born out of student activism. Watch this History of SES Video to learn more.
In 2013, in partnership with President Morton Schapiro and Vice President of Student Affairs, Patricia Telles-Irvin, the Co-Presidents of Quest+ (formerly Quest Scholars Network), worked together to garner support for an office dedicated to the enrichment and support of first-generation and/or lower-income students at Northwestern. In November 2014, the Founding Director, Kourtney Cockrell, was hired and four years later, SES has become a welcoming home to the growing community of FGLI students across campus.
