I joined Northwestern CAPS, in April 2024, as a staff psychologist and liaison to First Generation and Low-Income College Students. I have previously worked in university, community, inpatient/outpatient, and private practice settings. While I have a generalist background, I take special interest in serving historically marginalized communities. I’m excited to join the Northwestern family and work with the amazing students here!

I value social justice, multiculturalism, and decolonizing mental health. My approach to therapy centers strengths, agency, self-compassion, self-awareness, empowerment, and collaboration. In other words, I aim to foster a space where you feel accepted and comfortable to be yourself, ask for help, and receive the support you need to thrive. Along the way, you might learn more about yourself and how to better attend to your needs and values. My clinical interests include community engagement, group therapy, mindfulness, and supporting acculturation adjustments, identity explorations, relational and mood concerns.

In my free time, I enjoy doing pottery, traveling, dancing, martial arts, hiking/camping, and spending time with friends.
