Application Procedure
- On the application form, you will be asked to provide information regarding educational and training history, as well as the names and contact information of three professional references, at least one of which should be your primary internship clinical supervisor.
Additional materials you will be asked to upload as part of your application include:
- A cover letter indicating:
- Your interest in the Sport Psychology Fellowship position, and how the position aligns with your professional goals and interests.
- Your experience with/approach with: (1) working with student-athletes (clinically and/or mental performance), (2) multiculturalism and social justice, and (3) crisis intervention and case management.
- A current curriculum vitae
- An unofficial copy of your graduate school transcript.
Note: The doctoral degree must be completed before the Sport Psychology Postdoctoral Fellowship begins. The start date for the 2026-27 Postdoctoral Fellowship is August 1, 2026. The fellowship is for one year.
Applications for the 2026-2027 Sport Psychology Fellowship position are due Friday January 2, 2026 11:59pm CST.
