As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I assist clients who are facing various mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, interpersonal conflicts, life transitions, and adjustment issues. I strongly believe in the importance of whole-person health, mindfulness, and balance, and I strive to help my clients lead healthy lifestyles.

Using a biopsychosocial approach, I collaborate with clients to address their unique needs and goals. My practice is based on a strengths-based perspective, emphasizing client-centered care. I am committed to meeting clients where they are, a principle that has proven to be beneficial and productive in my clinical work.

In my role as Assistant Director of Clinical Services, I focus on continuously improving the quality of our services for students while also promoting the overall well-being of our staff.

I earned my master’s degree in social work from Loyola University Chicago and have been practicing in college counseling centers since graduation. My training experience in a university counseling center inspired me to pursue a career as a college therapist. I am a native of Brazil and am fluent in both Portuguese and Spanish.
