Siyu Chen (she/her) is thrilled to join the SOA team as one of the Graduate Assistants (GA) to support NU Nights! She will also enroll in MSHE program (SESP) at Northwestern this year! Siyu graduated from the George Washington University with a psychology major and a statistics minor. Her teaching experience as a student teacher in School Without Wall at Francis-Stevens inspired her to pursue a career in education. She then found her passion for Higher Ed while she was serving as a TA in a non-profit organization named KAC (Kizuna Across Culture).
She loves exploring the area (restaurants, museums, theaters, sports, etc.) with friends when she’s off work. Don’t hesitate to share your Evanston/Chicago Bucket List (or just say hi) if you spotted her in Norris University Center!
